Good Video Editing Programs?

As far as I'm aware Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas are professional video editing software. I know quite a few people who use Sony Vegas (and own it myself, yet have to find my way around it still). If you want to animate illustrations for a PV I'd say Adobe Flash is the best, though it lacks effects.

So I'd say if you'd like, try getting hold of Adobe After Effects or Sony Vegas (with secret methods *cough*).
